The countdown is on to the 20th edition of the world-famous Sauti za Busara festival. Excitement is rising in anticipation across Zanzibar and East Africa!
This year’s festival theme is Tofauti Zetu, Utajiri Wetu (Diversity is Our Wealth). Celebrating live music from across Africa and beyond, the spotlight shines brightly on women artists, young and emerging talents.

On Saturday 11th Feb from 10am – 4pm, Fumba Town - an eco-development project by CPS - who recently joined forces with Sauti za Busara, will host the Kwetu Kwenu Community Market with locally made organic produce, food, clothes, handcrafts and more. The event will feature free performances by Majestad Negra (Puerto Rico), Asia Madani (Sudan/Egypt) and Siti & the Band (Zanzibar). Free shuttles will be available every half-hour from/to Old Fort.
