He calls his music World Folk Music from Uganda. Following his passion for music, he completed his undergraduate studies at the African Institute of Music in Contemporary Jazz Guitar and went on to work as a live performer and guitarist in Kampala.
On top of regular performances at concerts and live shows, Aliddeki has performed on major stages like Blankets & Wine Kampala Festival (2022), Nyege Nyege Festival (2022), Fete De la Musique Kampala (2022), Afropalooza Festival (2022), One Song Concert (2022), Sofar Kampala and Sofar Kigali (2021 & 2023), Kwegonza Avenue Festival (2022), and Ekyooto Ha Mpango (2021) to mention just a few. With a background performing in a traditional troupe, Aliddeki has captivated audiences with his unique take on music and a touch of authentic Ugandanness. Influenced by jazz, world music, and pop, Aliddeki has a diversity in his music and songwriting that is unprecedented and sure to move the Ugandan cultural needle.
