This year's 22nd edition of Sauti za Busara, themed Voices for Peace celebrates live music from across Africa, as well as young and emerging talents.

This festival brings together renowned and emerging bands from all over the African continent, led by prominent music artists such as Thandiswa (South Africa), Blinky Bill (Kenya), Christian Bella & Malaika Band (Tanzania), Bokani Dyer (South Africa), Frida Amani (Tanzania), Wura Samba (Nigeria), The Zawose Queens (TZ/UK), Kasiva Mutua (Kenya), Zanzibar Taarab Heritage Ensemble (Zanzibar), Leo Mkanyia & Swahili Blues (Tanzania), Boukouru (Rwanda), Tryphon Evarist (Zanzibar), Charles Obina (Uganda), Baba Kash (Tanzania) and Anna Kattoa & Bantu Sound (Tanzania).

Festival press, photo, and film permits are exclusive opportunities for recognized professionals, with priority given to those who have previously supported or promoted Sauti za Busara. This is your chance to experience and capture unique stories from extraordinary artists!

Please note that advance registration is required; applications will not be accepted on-site. Providing links to earlier festival coverage will help enhance your application.

WOMEX 2024

From 23 – 27 October 2024, WOMEX delegates will once again meet in Manchester, UK. Global music business professionals will engage, network, create new opportunities, and share critical insights and practical knowledge to boost the worldwide music economy. 

ACCES 2024

The 7th edition of Music In Africa’s ACCES conference will take place at the Kigali Convention Centre, Rwanda from 14 - 16 November 2024, with a stellar line-up of music performances, conference panels, networking for professionals, and more. 

Registrations are open on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s completely free for African delegates!

Ticket revenues cover only 30% of expenses. Even with office operations now mainly covered by Fumba Town, a project by CPS, the festival needs partners to ensure its continued success.
