As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the incredible moments and vibrant energy we shared together at Sauti za Busara. With each passing event, you are making our festival one of the most memorable celebrations of music, culture, and unity in the region. We are filled with gratitude for the performances, the crowds, and the magic that fill the air at our beautiful home in Zanzibar.

2024 was an unforgettable year, with breathtaking performances from local and international artists who graced our stages. The rhythm, the beats, and the stories we shared echoed long after the festival ended. We can't thank you enough for being part of this amazing journey, and we can't wait to welcome you in February 2025 to yet another joyous and conscious celebration of culture, music, unity and diversity!

Voices for Peace

Sauti za Busara's 22nd Edition is set to return bigger, better, and more diverse than ever before! From February 14th -16th, we will unite musicians from all corners of the globe to honour the vibrant and rich tapestry of African music and culture. Set against the breath-taking backdrop of Stone Town, Zanzibar, this iconic festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of sound, unity, and the power of music for peace.

Our motto for the festival is "Voices for Peace", as we aim to use music as a tool for advocating peace and unity. The world has witnessed the devastating effects of war in Sudan, Congo, Gaza, and other regions. Music carries tremendous influence in spreading messages and creating memorable moments of change. While we do not wield machine guns, the lyrics and spirits of our songs are powerful weapons for peace. We believe in the power of music to unite and send strong messages to the world, join us in February to send a strong message all around the world.
