Get ready for the 23rd edition of Sauti za Busara, set to light up Stone Town, Zanzibar, from 5th - 8th February 2026! This year, we’re thrilled to announce a vibrant lineup headlined by a living legend of African music.

For the first time ever, the legendary Salif Keita,The Golden Voice of Africa will grace the stage at Sauti za Busara. His performance marks a historic moment for the festival and for African music, uniting generations through sound, soul, and storytelling. From the heart of Mali to the shores of Zanzibar, Salif Keita’s appearance celebrates the power of African heritage and the spirit of unity that defines Sauti za Busara.

He is joined by an electrifying mix of established and emerging artists from across the continent and its diaspora.

Call for Media Accreditation

Sauti za Busara 2026 takes over Stone Town, Zanzibar from February 5th–8th, with four days of 100% live African music in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This year’s highlight: Salif Keita, The Golden Voice of Africa, performing at the festival for the first time.

Media professionals can now apply for exclusive press, photo, and film permits, with a unique chance to collaborate with UNESCO and cover legendary artists adding value to  both your portfolio and international credibility.

Advance registration is required, and priority is given to those who’ve previously supported the festival.

Registration is open until December 31st 2025.

 WOMEX 25 will take place in Tampere, Finland, from 22 to 26 October 2025.Global music business professionals will engage, network, create new opportunities, and share critical insights and practical knowledge to boost the worldwide music economy. 

ACCES 2025

The 8th edition of Music In Africa’s ACCES conference will take place in the city of Tshwane,SouthAfrica from 30th Oct  - 01st  Nov 2025, with a stellar line-up of music performances, conference panels, networking for professionals, and more. 

Registrations are open on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s completely free for African delegates!

Ticket sales cover only 30% of Sauti za Busara’s costs, and while core operations are supported by Fumba Town by CPS, we rely on partners like you to keep the festival alive and thriving.
