We’re excited to announce an important new chapter for Sauti za Busara. As the Old Fort undergoes major restoration works, the 23rd edition of the Friendliest Festival on Planet Earth will move to a new outdoor venue at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds in Stone Town.
After 22 incredible years at the Old Fort, this change opens up fresh possibilities. The new location is surrounded by beautiful trees, open space, and a cooling sea breeze offering more room for music, movement, markets, food, and unforgettable shared moments. It also allows us to welcome growing audiences more comfortably while creating new experiences for festival lovers and artists alike.
The heart of Sauti za Busara remains the same African music, unity, and togetherness just with more space to grow and celebrate.
