Founded in 2019 by students from TASUBA College of Arts in Bagamoyo, MTG is a vibrant torchbearer of Tanzanian cultural heritage. The group’s mission is to preserve, educate, and celebrate traditional Tanzanian arts across multiple disciplines, including music, dance, theatre, acrobatics, crafts, and visual arts.

Through dynamic stage shows, community workshops, school outreach programs, and international collaborations with music and arts organizations across Europe, the USA, Nigeria, South Africa, and India, MTG spreads the vibrant spirit of Tanzanian culture around the globe.

From captivating local audiences to enthralling international crowds, MTG has quickly risen as a standout name in the world of Traditional Performing Arts. Their growing list of high-profile appearances includes: The Tanzanian Royal Tour in the USA (2022), Dubai Expo (2022) and 60th Anniversary of Tanzanian Independence (2021)
