Cashless System for Sauti za Busara
Why Cashless?
A cashless system ensures a seamless and worry-free festival experience. It eliminates long queues at bars and concerns about the safety of cash, as everything is securely stored in your digital wallet—less hassle and more time to focus on enjoying the music, dancing, and igniting your story!
How It Works:
Upon receiving your festival wristband, you’ll also get a chip (for 3-Day Tickets) or a card (for 1-Day Tickets). These can be topped up at designated stations inside the festival using cash, card, or mobile money.
When you purchase food or drinks, the vendor will display the total amount. If you agree, simply scan your chip/card to deduct the amount, and receive your goods immediately. You can check your balance at any vendor point. An activation fee of 1,500 TZS ($0.6) applies, deducted from your first top-up.
Refunding Your Balance:
You can refund any remaining balance (minimum 5,000 TZS) at the top-up stations during the festival. Afterward, refunds are available until 4 pm on Monday, February 17th at the festival ticket counter. Alternatively, you can choose to donate your remaining balance to Busara Promotions, the NGO organizing the Sauti za Busara Festival.
Key Points to Remember:
- Upon ticketing, you’ll receive a wristband with a chip or payment card. Top up your balance using cash, bank card, or mobile money, with an activation fee applied only on the first top-up.
- Bars and vendors at the festival accept payments exclusively through your cashless card/wristband.
- You can top up your card with any amount, and unused balances are refundable.
- Check your balance at any top-up point or vendor location. If your balance runs low, recharge with cash or card at any top-up point.
- Keep your card/wristband secure, as the organizer is not liable for lost items during the event, including payment cards.
- The payment card is governed by the “General Terms and Conditions for the Payvent Tag,” available for download on our website.
