The days are flying by and our beloved festival we are working on and waiting for all year is getting closer at rapid speed. The anticipation is high as the line-up is promising and guarantees for yet another unforgettable three days of African music under African skies.

To make the festival more sustainable and generate much needed cash flow, we started a new program where Hotels donate rooms and you can purchase them via our website, with all proceeds going towards the festival! We have a limited number for now, purchasable via our ticketing system. Going live in this exact moment, giving you the chance to secure your special hotel experience for the festival.

Large music festivals like ours have big carbon footprints, due to the international travel and logistics involved. To tackle these challenges and reduce the footprint of Sauti za Busara, we have partnered with STAWI sustainability hub and Jane Goodalls' Roots & Shoots program to help restore a native forest in Zanzibar. Join us and help us reduce the impact on our environment! When you purchase your festival ticket and accommodation, please also purchase a tree or two (also via the Pesa-Pal ticketing page) which will be planted in Zanzibar after the Festival! Healthy forests absorb carbon dioxide, help tackle climate change, and improve local water catchment.
