Willom Tight and the Tight Family
Country Zimbabwe Genres band Festival Sauti za Busara 2004 Willom Tight & Tight Family are one of Zimbabwe's most vibrant groups who are causing a major stir on the market and on stage. The group has shared the stage with many of southern Africa's leading musicians including Jabu Khanyile, Oliver Mtukudzi and others. The group has released two successful albums, Ndinoda Wangu (2000) and Hodzeko (2002) which both feature a strong mix and diversity of styles. Willom Tight's music is a fusion of several music genres from traditional beats to ragga to r'n'b. Tight says "That is my sound and I keep improving on it everyday picking several other influences including that of prominent Zimbabwean musicians." The Tight Family also features the versatile vocalist, Dino Mudondo who has recorded two solo albums Makorokoto (2001) and Makoikoi (2003).
