Blinky Bill is a multi-talented artist, producer, and DJ from Nairobi, Kenya, celebrated for his unique sound that fuses futuristic African beats with funk, hip-hop, pop, electronica, and jazz. Raised in Eastleigh by musician parents, he was influenced by a diverse range of genres, from gospel to hip-hop, which shaped his artistic identity.

Initially studying Sports Science, Blinky found refuge in music during a challenging university experience, leading to the formation of Just A Band, a ground-breaking group in Kenya’s alternative music scene. His solo career features critically acclaimed projects, including We Cut Keys While You Wait (2016) and Everyone’s Just Winging It and Other Fly Tales (2018).

His latest album, We Cut Keys 2, showcases his experimental style, blending tribal drums, electronic music, hip-hop, and jazz. The opening single, "Dracula," serves as a rallying cry for unity and rights, while the second single, "Get The Paper," highlights his signature genre-blending sound.

With over a decade in the industry, Blinky Bill has collaborated with renowned artists like Nneka, Goldlink, Sampa The Great, Childish Gambino, and Chance The Rapper.
