Ben Pol’s career began with a quiet curiosity and a natural talent for the arts. As a child, he explored drawing, acting, dancing, and comedy—but it was singing that truly resonated. Encouraged by the reactions of those around him, he honed his musical abilities throughout school, even teaching himself keyboard and piano.

His breakthrough came in 2007, when a friend encouraged him to audition for Tanzania House of Talent (THT). Accepted immediately, Ben immersed himself in vocal training, group performances, and live shows, laying the foundation for his musical journey. His talent stood out again during a Clouds Media singing competition, where he placed in the top 10 and recorded his first song, Shining Star.

After high school, a chance studio session with producer Professor Duke led to the recording of Pata Raha, and soon after, the breakout hit "Nikikupata" in 2010—a song that skyrocketed Ben Pol to national fame.
