Zily is a woman of multiple cultures through her Malagasy father and French mother from Mayotte. She is a committed woman, who has always valued the culture and traditions of Mayotte: mutual aid, solidarity and sharing.

In Mayotte, Zily proudly assumes the image of a strong and ambitious business woman, modern yet faithful to her origins. She embodies this in a society not unlike Zanzibar, where music is rarely taken seriously, and culture is so present in daily life that it is not seen as an issue.

Zily is bringing professionalism to Mayotte’s music sector. She is showing music is the way to promote the island’s image positively to a wider audience, whilst maintaining its strong and unique traditional cultural influences.
