After years of international touring, these musicians created this project together to show the potential of music in a changing world! Afropentatonism is a musical journey on the pentatonic scale, guided by the desert blues of Anivolla and the ethiojazz of Mezmur.

Afropentatonism is an ongoing pan-African meeting that offers a continuous platform for creation. It showcases the enormous potential and diversity of African music, rhythm, poetry, and art. Bringing Afropentatonism to Zanzibar is an invitation for all musicians to join the project and move forward with new and surprising melodies and rhythms.
