Frida’s musical roots trace back to her childhood as a church choir singer, where her passion for performance was ignited. Influenced by artists such as Sampa the Great, Lauryn Hill, and Albert Mangwea, she transitioned to rap.
Despite her family’s initial hopes for her to pursue a career in finance, Frida’s unwavering commitment to her artistic dreams, supported by her loved ones, led her to fully embrace her musical path.

She worked as a radio and TV presenter, immersing herself in the intricacies of the music industry while honing her skills. Her return to music was marked by the release of “Jibebe” in June 2018, a track that not only highlighted her evolution as an artist but also resonated with listeners through its relatable storytelling and captivating simplicity.
