Message to all Friends & Supporters of Sauti za Busara and the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar
A very big thank you for all your messages of support and encouragement. We have heard you and we won’t give up! The crew behind the festival have said that they will work for free until we have enough funds, to make sure the festival will go ahead.
So, this is also an appeal to private and public sector entities, international and local organizations, embassies and individuals to provide financial support to the Sauti za Busara festival. Help us continue to bring thousands of visitors to Zanzibar, create jobs and friendships, promote East African music and local bands until they reach global fame. Help us to keep organizing one of the best festivals for African Music under African skies, and bring people together in February to celebrate the best of Zanzibar and Tanzania: hospitality, music and friendship, which is stronger than all our difficulties and differences.
